Julie Hagerty has had a busy year lighting up the screens. Julie currently stars opposite Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson in Netflix’s new Noah Baumbach movie, “Marriage Story”, which has so far been nominated for best picture at the Golden Globes, amongst other prestigious awards. Additionally, she can be seen opposite Anna Kendrick, Shirley MacLaine, Bill Hader, and Billy Eichner in the Disney+ original film, “Noelle” as ‘Mrs. Claus.’ You can also catch her in the Paramount Pictures feature film “Instant Family” starring opposite Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne. Other credits include, Jonathan Demme’s final film, “A Master Builder,” where her work was hauntingly brilliant. Hagerty’s other screen credits include, “Airplane,” Albert Brooks’, “Lost in America,” Robert Altman’s, “Beyond Therapy,” Woody Allen’s, “A Midsummer Night’s Sex Comedy,” Oliver Stone’s, “U-Turn” and Rob Reiner’s, “The Story Of Us,” just to name a few. An accomplished stage actor, Hagerty received the Drama Critics Award for her role in ‘Raised in Captivity’ and the Theatre World Award (an accolade given to Broadway’s most outstanding newcomer) for John Guare’s ‘The House of Blue Leaves’. She also received the Outer Critics Award for her performance in ‘Mornings At Seven’ on Broadway. Additionally, her stage credits include ‘The Odd Couple’, ‘Moon Over Miami’, ‘Born Yesterday’, ‘Front Page’, A.R. Gurney’s ‘A Cheever Evening’ and Shel Silverstein’s ‘Wild Life’, Christopher Durang’s ‘The Marriage of Bette and Boo’ and ‘The Master Builder’ directed by Andre Gregory, based on Henrik Ibsen’s screenplay, adapted and translated by Wallace Shawn. On Television, Hagerty was last seen recurring on NBC’s “Trial & Error.” Other selected credits include, “Family Guy,” “New Girl,” Happy Endings” and “Grace & Frankie.”
