SF Sketchfest teams up with comedy curator Jeff Zamaria to bring you a brand new monthly showcase of stand-up, sketch, characters and more at Doc’s Lab, formerly the historic Purple Onion in North Beach. The shows will (mostly) take place on the second Thursday of each month. Join us for our inaugural show with Josef Anolin, Nicole Calasich, Chardonnay, Jesse Hett, Sean McKenzie, Allison Mick, Chris Storin, host Drew Harmon and more!

Comedian Doug Benson (“Super High Me,” “Last Comic Standing,” and the Doug Loves Movies podcast) and mystery comedy guests return to the front row of the Castro Theatre for another afternoon of cracking wise at the screen. After taking on the first film based on the “50 Shades of Grey” series of “novels,” Doug and company will rip one-liners off faster than the on-screen clothing of the sequel “Fifty Shades Darker.”

The West Wing Weekly is an episode-by-episode discussion of one of television’s most beloved shows, co-hosted by one of its stars, Joshua Malina, along with Hrishikesh Hirway of Song Exploder. After quickly selling out their first live episode during SF Sketchfest, they return to the Bay Area with special guest Aaron Sorkin. They will be discussing the Season 3 Finale episode, “Posse Comitatus.”
